  • "Elly has been life changing for myself and my dog Wilson. Within a few sessions I have the tools & confidence to work with him, and he’s kicking goals. Elly, (and Murphy) have truly blown any expectations out of the water. She’s very knowledgeable and extremely supportive. Couldn’t recommend her enough, any problem big or small. Thankyou Elly."

  • "Elly at Complete K9 Training has been a game changer for us! She has helped us strengthen our relationship with our rescue dog and increased my confidence to walk her in different, challenging environments. I had stopped walking my dog because she pulled, didn't listen and would bark and lunge at dogs walking past. After working with Elly 1:1 and then attending the group sessions, we enjoy our walks together and are becoming more neutral around other dogs. It was (and still is) a lot of work but Elly helped step it out for us to make it less daunting! Elly is so patient and knowledgeable and really works to understand each dog! She is committed to her own development and is constantly looking for ways to learn more for her clients. I couldn't recommend more highly."

  • "I have been taking my 9 year old, very stubborn Bulldog to Elly's classes for just under a year now and he has become a new dog. He is very dog neutral now and isn’t bothered by other dogs, which is exactly what I wanted. We still have hiccups here and there but with everything we have learnt from group classes we are able to manage extremely well. Elly is full of knowledge, has plenty of breed experience and is always attending seminars to better her own knowledge to then pass onto others. I personally don't think you could find anyone better in Geelong and I've been working/volunteering in the animal industry for nearly 10 years."

  • "Elly was absolutely fantastic with our two Aussie Shepherds, Arlo and Floki, who both have very different needs. She took the time to truly understand them as individuals and tailored her approach to help us in the best way possible. Her knowledge and expertise are outstanding, and she explained everything so clearly, making the training process easy to follow. On top of that, she is so warm, friendly, and approachable, making us feel completely comfortable from the start. We’ve seen such a positive difference in our dogs thanks to her guidance. Highly recommend Elly to anyone looking for a skilled and caring trainer!"

FAQs

  • Reactivity is best worked on in a calm, controlled environment where both you and your dog can learn without added pressure. At CK9T, we recommend starting with private consultations at our Bell Park training facility. This allows us to uncover the root cause of your dog’s behaviour, create a tailored training plan, and give you practical tools to manage and improve reactivity.

Once you and your dog have built solid foundations through private sessions, you may then be able to progress into group classes when the time is right and dog assessments have been passed. This step-by-step approach ensures safety, consistency, and long-term success.

  • To book private consults with us please either send an enquiry, shoot us a text or schedule our FREE phone consult.

  • Our goal at Complete K9 training is to make training fun for both the owner and the dog. By establishing communication, we reinforce any and all behaviours we find desirable through play, games, rewards and affection.

Only once the dog has an understanding of what we are asking and what is expected, we can then hold the dog accountable.

"Dogs and humans repeat behaviours that are followed by reinforcement and decrease behaviours that result in punishment"- Trisha Stewart.

Helping to create a world where dogs and owners can thrive together.
